The Newberry Geothermal Project
Davenport Newberry Holdings LLC is the Operator of the Newberry Geothermal Project and holds 60 square miles of Federal geothermal leases on the flanks of Newberry Volcano in central Oregon, about 30 miles south of Bend. Davenport Newberry’s leases are located outside of the Newberry National Volcanic Monument in an area designated for geothermal development.

The majority owners of Davenport Newberry are US Renewables Group, Riverstone Holdings, LLC and Davenport Power, LLC. It is our objective to develop, own and operate geothermal power plants at this location. The Newberry Project has a long history and is built upon the endeavors and discoveries of individuals and companies that have gathered valuable information over the years about the deep underground heat and water resources at this location. These underground resources are the source for valuable base-load renewable energy.
